Prototype → Production
Your AI-built prototype works. Now make it safe to launch.
You proved the idea in Lovable, Replit, Bolt, v0 or Figma Make. Before it holds customer data or takes payments, it needs server-side security, a dependable database, tests, monitoring and proper hosting. We review what you have, keep what is sound and engineer the rest. Most engagements take 6–16 weeks.
Common in prototypes
- Login checks that live in the interface, not on the server
- Keys in browser code; database tables without access rules
- No tests or monitoring, so bugs reach customers first
- Untested under real traffic, payments or failed webhooks
- Changes made by prompt, with no review history or docs
What production needs
- Server-verified auth, user roles and row-level security
- Secrets server-side; each customer sees only their own data
- Tests on critical flows, error tracking and alerts
- Load, payments and integrations tested against real conditions
- Version control, CI/CD and documentation your next hire can use
How the work runs
Four phases, with a fixed plan before the main build.
Review
We read the code, test the security basics and map what the app needs to do at launch. You get a written list of gaps, ranked by risk.
Plan
We decide with you what to keep, what to rework and what to rebuild, covering data model, auth, hosting and integrations. Scope and price are fixed here.
Engineering
We harden or refactor in small, reviewed changes with tests, so the app keeps working while it improves.
Launch and handover
Production hosting, CI/CD, monitoring and documentation. You own the repo and accounts, and your team or ours can carry it on.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you rebuild the prototype from scratch?
Only when that is genuinely cheaper or safer. Often the screens and flows are worth keeping and the work is underneath: real auth, access rules, a cleaner data model, tests and proper hosting. The review tells you which applies before you commit to anything.
How long does prototype to production take?
Most engagements run 6–16 weeks, depending on how much the app does and how much needs rework. A small app with a narrow launch scope can be quicker. The review comes first, so you see a plan and a fixed price before the main work starts.
Which AI builders do you work with?
Lovable, Replit, Bolt, v0, Cursor and Figma Make projects, as well as hand-written code that grew quickly. What matters is that we can get the code into a repository; most of these tools support export or Git sync.
Will we be able to keep building with AI tools afterwards?
Yes. Many clients keep prototyping new features with AI tools. We set up the repository, tests and review process so those changes can be checked before they reach customers.
What do we get at the end?
A live app with server-side security, tested critical flows, monitoring, an automated deployment pipeline and documentation. You own all of the code, accounts and IP, with no dependency on us to keep it running.
Have a prototype that customers are about to use?
Send us a link to the app or the repo. We reply within one business day, and the review gives you a ranked list of gaps, a plan and a fixed price. You can start with a one-week trial.
