AI Financial Reporting Agent
Stop rebuilding the same reports by hand every month.
In many growing businesses, the monthly numbers depend on one person exporting from three systems and stitching them together in a spreadsheet. That works until the person is away, the business adds an entity, or the board wants figures mid-month. The AI Finance Agent connects to your accounting, payment and banking data, lists transactions that don’t match, produces the reports you already use on a schedule, and points out what looks unusual. Your accountant or finance lead still reviews and signs off. They just start from a prepared pack instead of raw exports.
What it does
- Pulls data from your accounting, payment and banking tools on a schedule
- Matches transactions across systems and lists the ones that don’t reconcile
- Produces P&L, cash-flow and custom management reports in your format
- Flags unusual spend, possible duplicate payments and overdue invoices
- Sends daily or weekly summaries in plain English
- Answers questions about your numbers, with links back to the source data

How we build it
Discovery
We look at how the work is done today, which systems it touches and where a person must stay involved. You get a written scope and a fixed price.
Build and connect
We build the agent, connect it to your tools and data, set its limits and hand-off rules, and test it against real examples from your business.
Launch
It goes live on your most common case first. We review real conversations and results with you and adjust.
Improve
We monitor it, fix gaps, and add use cases once the first one is clearly working.
FAQ
AI Finance Agent: common questions
Is my financial data secure?
We give the agent the least access it needs. Where a platform offers read-only permissions (Stripe’s restricted API keys, for example), we use them. Where a connection grants broader access, we limit what the agent can do in our own code and log every request. Credentials stay out of the codebase, and we work within your existing security policies. We’ve built systems for regulated financial services clients, so this is a normal conversation for us.
Does it replace my accountant?
No. It takes over the gathering, matching and formatting, so your accountant or finance lead spends their time on judgement: what the numbers mean, what to do about them, and what goes to the board. It doesn’t file returns, post journals without approval, or give tax advice.
Which tools does it connect to?
Commonly QuickBooks Online, Xero and Stripe, plus bank data (usually through your accounting software’s bank feeds) and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify. If you use something else, we check its API before we quote.
Can it catch problems early?
That’s one of the main reasons to have it. Because it checks daily rather than at month-end, a duplicated supplier payment, a customer drifting past terms or a cost line jumping above its usual range shows up while there’s still time to act. It flags; a person decides.
How reliable are the figures?
The numbers come from your systems through code; the AI doesn’t generate them. Its job is to explain them in plain English and spot patterns, and every summary links back to the source data. Before you rely on it, we reconcile its first reports against the ones you produce today.
